AC103 Hot Gas Extrusion

Course Content:   Introduction to common thermoplastics (PE, PP, PVC, PVDF), identifying plastic materials, common processing techniques, welding symbols, joint preparation, defects and hot to avoid them, process control, inspection and testing, health and safety, introduction to European Certification, practical hot gas welding and extrusion welding in thermoplastics. Implement control and safe operation procedures. Suitable for individuals with some experience of hot gas welding wishing to develop skills, fabricators, maintenance staff, engineers and apprentices.

AC105 Hot Gas Welding

Course Content: Introduction to common thermoplastics (PE, PP, PVC, PVDF), common processing techniques of hot gas hand tool and hot gas extruder welding, identify plastic materials, weld symbols, joint preparation, defects and how to avoid them, process control, inspection and testing, health and safety, introduction to European Certification, practical hot gas welding in polyvinyl chloride and polypropylene, implement process control and safe operation procedures. Suitable for individuals with no experience in manual hot gas welding and hot gas extruder process, fabricators, maintenance staff, engineers and apprentices.
